Ever since a visit from John Bowers and his new 801 flagship speaker, Abbey Road Studios has used Bowers & Wilkins 800-series loudspeakers as their monitor of choice. 45 years later, B&W is celebrating this partnership with the 801 Abbey Road Limited Edition. Based on the flagship 801 D4 Signature, it has a Vintage Walnut cabinet inspired by Abbey Road’s interiors and bespoke red Connolly leather trim that references both the Studio Two control room and the red leather chairs throughout the space. Every pair sold includes a specially commissioned book detailing the history of both Abbey Road and Bowers & Wilkins and sports a plate with the year, indicating it’s one of only 140 sets produced.

McIntosh x Sun Records MTI100 Integrated Turntable

Founded in Memphis in 1952, Sun Records has a proud history as the first label to record Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash. McIntosh celebrates this rich heritage with a special MTI100 Integrated Turntable. Featuring a custom-printed Sun Records glass plinth, a 7-pound machined aluminum platter, and a matching machined aluminum tonearm, it’s a highly capable record player. It’s far more, though, functioning as the center of a music system thanks to the integrated power amplifier, vacuum tube preamplifier section, and shielded phono preamplifier. Inputs include analog, digital, and Bluetooth, while the posts on the back connect directly to a set of speakers, with the option to add a subwoofer via a dedicated output or listen privately via the headphone jack on the front.
